Laila Razib (b. 2001, Singapore) is a multi-disciplinary artist whose practice spans performance, lens-based art (film and photography) and painting.

Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Fine Art at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Laila stands as a student representative for her batch. Her recent work was showcased in the NAFA x UAL 2025 exhibition held at Chelsea College of Arts, London. In 2024, Laila was a participating artist in the Beras Basah (Wet Rice) Exhibition, held as part of Singapore Night Festival, where she performed during the opening night. Her work was also displayed in the Menagerie: Realms of Possibility group exhibition held at Photographic Society Singapore. Beyond her individual practice, Laila has contributed to collaborative projects with the Women Of:__ Collective and the Pe(ng)lipur Lara Collective,

 

Previously, she graduated from Republic Polytechnic’s Diploma in Media Production and Design where she notably received Module Prize in Interactive Media and Content Development and was inducted into the Director's Roll of Honour in 2019. In 2021, her final year group project was selected as a finalist for Republic Polytechnic’s ‘Symbiosis’ Graduate Show.

Her professional experience includes a role as Programmes, Events, and Outreach intern at Terra SG from 2020 to 2021. She assumed multifaceted roles, ranging from primary video editor and production assistant to serving as a facilitator for sustainability workshops in schools.

During her time pursuing her Diploma, Laila was an active member of Art.titude, the art interest group in Republic Polytechnic. She participated as one of the featured artists in the Reflections Community Arts Festival 2019, organised by the National Arts Council.
