On my journey of self-discovery pertaining my cultural identity, I found peace in the stillness of my surroundings. In the painting, I embody the persona of Puteri Gunung Ledang; a memorable mountain princess of the Malay folklore. I incorporated the writings of the princess's rules in the Bugis lontara script to honour my Bugis ancestors.
