Volunteering
Borahae Team SG
Established in 2019, Borahae Team SG is a collective of BTS fans based in Singapore, with a primary goal of providing support to vulnerable communities within the city-state. Borahae Team SG extends its support to migrant workers, underprivileged families, and marginalised groups. Despite our small team size of five organisers and twenty-nine volunteers, we strive to create impactful campaigns and coordinate group volunteering efforts for various charity organisations in Singapore, primarily through Giving.sg. I serve as the Lead Graphic Designer and one of the key organisers for charity initiatives within Borahae Team SG.
Inspired by BTS' and BTS ARMY's generosity in their contributions to society, we launched our inaugural fundraising and volunteering campaign in early 2019 for the band's 6th Anniversary. Named 'Borahae Bundles' for FoodBank SG, this campaign quickly gained traction on Twitter, capturing the attention of both non-fans and international enthusiasts alike. The overwhelming positive feedback and recognition we received fueled our determination to further pursue our mission.
#PlayeumGoesOn Campaign:
Supporting Children's Arts & Play
In 2021, the team decided to focus our efforts on supporting children's arts programs through a fundraising campaign. This decision was influenced by insights from news articles such as Today and RiceMedia, which highlighted the scarcity of support for arts and heritage charities during the pandemic. Among these, Playeum stood out for its commitment to offering educational play experiences to children from diverse backgrounds.
Through using Twitter as the main source of advertising and other social media platforms for sharing, the team managed to raise more than the initial goal of $1,360.

Give Hope, Spread Love Campaign:
Welfare for Migrant Workers
In 2021, the team created a fundraising campaign for the Migrant Workers Assistance fund under Migrant Workers' Centre (MWC). The COVID-19 pandemic brought to light the challenges faced by our migrant worker community, including outbreaks in dormitories and subsequent safety measures leading to displacement and loss of income for some workers.
#shineONwithBTS Campaign:
Food for the Underprivilidged
In honor of BTS's 7th Anniversary in 2020, Borahae Team initiated a fundraising campaign inspired by the band's song "ON". Willing Hearts was chosen as the team resonated with their mission to improve the lives of the underprivileged by providing daily necessities and support.
Given the surge in COVID-19 cases at the time, the initiative aimed to aid the community during challenging times. Through active promotion on Twitter, the team exceeded their initial fundraising goal of $1,360.
